From Dra. WISCO with LOVE

My son would never forget the gesture of Dra. Tizza Ireen R. Wisco, one of the Interns who have been assigned to him during his confinement at the St. Luke's Medical Center last December 2007 to January 2008 . Below is the message of Dra. Wisco's sister, seeking help in behalf of my son.

"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they shall possess the earth. Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for justice, for they shall be satisfied. Blessed are the merciful,
for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure of heart, for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. Blessed are they who suffer persecution for justice sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." - Matthew 5: 3-12
Good day everyone! My sister had a patient in the social service at St. Luke's Medical Center who's in great need of financial help to undergo heart operation. His name is Biloi, an 11 year old boy, an honor student but currently stopped schooling due to his heart ailment. He was diagnosed of congenital heart disease (meaning, he had this heart ailment eversince he was born). Due to financial constraints, there was delay on his treatment and developed several complications. Presently, the final diagnosis for Biloi is Congenital Heart Disease, Severe Pulmonary Stenosis, Atrial Septal Defect, Severe Tricuspid regurgitation, Major Aorto-Pulmonary Collateral arteries and right ventricular failure. Biloi was told that he has greater chance of survival if he would undergo operation as soon as possible. If you could help us raise funds for Biloi (any amount will be greatly appreciated ), to allow him to have a longer and fruitful life.
you could contact us at these numbers: Tizza - 0922-6042157 Elane - 0922-3731968
Attached is Biloi's photo and his scanned letter, addressed to my sister, asking for your help.

While we have not received any financial assistance due to the denial of the open heart surgery of my son which was the final decision based on the service conference of the consultants handling my son's case at the said hospital, however, this gesture of Dra. Wisco and her sister will remain always in my son's heart and be our family's lifetime debt of gratitude to them.
More power to you, Dra. Wisco!

Continuation of the Procession

This is the continuation of the procession.

Our barangay is of composed of almost 3 zones, one (1) across a river, so we have to cross a bridge. My husband, the one with light yellow T-shirt and my nephews and friends alternately carried the image. Biloi was riding in a pedicab since he can't bear to walk the long way back to our Chapel.

It was a cloudy afternoon, but our Patroness granted our wish not to experience rainfalls until we finished the said procession.

Amatuer video "PROCESSION OF NUESTRA SEÑORA DE SALVACION"

Taken last May 15, 2009 during the procession of Nuestra Señora de Salvacion, the Patron Saint of Brgy. Cantariwis, Tolosa, Leyte, Philippines, wherein Roi, my son was the "Hermano Mayor".

Way back December 1997, after we returned from the Philippine Heart Center, Manila where his open heart surgery was postponed and reset the following year for further study of his case according to the Chief Pedia-Cardiologist of the said hospital, when my husband and I decided to offer everything to God our son's case since we are desperate that we could go back the following year due to financial constraint. I uttered that for every 6 years of his existence, he will sponsor the Mass during our Fiesta, May 15-16 in honor of our Patroness.

With the intercession of Nuestra Señora de Salvacion, he reached 6 years old without major attach and last May 15-16, 2003 we fulfilled our promise. Despite his serious attack last 2007-2008, we are again so grateful that he is surviving until now. Having reached 12 years old, again we celebrated our Fiesta with my son as Mass Sponsor. But this time, we focused only on Church activities due to limited funds. Unlike in 2003 that we even sponsored several parlor games including inter-barangay basketball competition wherein we are the donor of trophy and cash prize for the champion.

While I understand that we have individual beliefs, yet for my son and my whole family, we firmly believed that Nuestra Señora de Salvacion has done so much for this miracle.

Dance video of Reo "Princess", Roi's wished sister

This is an amatuer dance video of Biloi's wished sister....reo"princess" done on our bed. She really likes dancing because she believed it will make his brother happy.
